Linking out.
I realize it's been a while since I've posted for real. I'm feeling too low about it to even apologize, if that makes any sense.
But I wanted to tag this post, over at Willow Tree.
It was like stumbling across a fragment of perfect sea-glass. Unexpected and precise.

John over at Celebrating Colum has captured a gem of a moment like that too.
If I linked over to Celebrating Colum every time John posted something beautiful, that'd be my whole blog.
But yeah.

please please, we need u back, we use to look every day for u'r blog. please we love u.
Makes perfect sense. Hope things start to look up for you soon.
a lot of us have been taking a step back from our blogs lately... no worries. :-)
I'm not taking a step back, so much. I was never an every-day blogger. I had promised (mostly myself) a post about every two weeks, and that's gone down to once a month, and even that's getting weak. (e.g., I'm counting that "my wife" post as substance, which it's not.)
But I've got this new day job (yay!) that's just creamin' me. I mean, I like the whole employed, earning money, supporting my family thing, but still...
I used to "steal time" during the day to draft these things. But, at least until the learning curve flattens out a bit here, it's hard to do that.
Also... there's a timeliness issue. I wanted to write something about Terry Schiavo, for instance, but by the time I get down to writing it out (a) it's been said better by others and (b) it's a little late.
Stuff like that.
Anyway...
Since I have a HUGE deadline this week, I should be able to catch a break later this week or early next. Hopefully.
